Hi Friends,

Do you think, I can make it? My application was received on 28th of October, 2011 by CIO for NOC 3113. My CC hasn't be charged as of now and Number of Complete Applications Received for NOC 3113 is currently 463 out of 500.

Please share your experience/expertise.

If u call CIO today
u will get ur UCI number/file number
since CIO was processing 21 oct applicants yesterday
so ur application has already passed the stage of initial assesement (ie. completeness check)
Banks most of the time do not provide correct information about the status of BD

seniors.. would appreciate your advise on my situation.

I have got my 2nd AOR from NDVO and waiting for my MR (almost 60+ days wait after 2nd AOR). If I travel to US for 2 weeks on business trip,
1. Do I need to inform NDVO?
2. Will this affect my application in them asking me to get another US PCC? I am concerned about this, since if they do, this will take again another 2 months.

Yes, you may inform them about the trip just for the sake of it & also since you don't want to miss if they choose to call you at the time. No you wouldn't be asked for new PCC for a short trip of 2 weeks.

Dear Farrukh,

On your returned package, did they use the address labels that you provided with your application . I am just trying to determine when do they use it.
My E-CAS address is incomplete and my email to LVO received no response. Basically they have not written P.O.Box before the number. If they use my address label then my Medical forms can reach my PO Box safely, if not, I am worried.
The address on the PER email was complete though.

yes CIO has used the same label which i provided to CIO in my application package.
so dont worry CIO will send you snail mail through your provided label.

I've been out for almost a month but since last month a was calling my agent in order to get news about PER/NER , but they were always telling me they didn't get any news from CIO. I started to get worry about and decided to send them an email and yesterday I got a reply:

They wrote a file number .
We sent you an email on 5.12.2011 !!!

My agent is not informing me what is happening and I am very worried!!!


Is it possible that it was a NER?
Till now my ecas says: IN PROCESS. We recieved your application 6.9.11

I tried to call CIO yesterday but all the lines were busy

Please help!!!! :'(

Well, Patricia, if your e-case shows "In Process", most probably it is PER. May be PER email went to the junk folder of your agent. Pls reconfirm with them or call CIO again to verify it.

in case of email you will receive massage in 15 to 22 days so its better to call.

+ve sign for PER but its better for you to call CIO and ask your agent to search the email.

Hi Patricia,

You cannot rely on CAS to know about your ER result. There are times when CAS is not updated or glitched. You have to get hold of your agent / try calling CIO again/ write them to resend the letter , this time at your id. You can also cancel services of your representative at any stage ,if you wish.

Normally CAS in the case of NER should read 1) We received..... 2) We reviewed & sent you a letter.....3) Decision made
