I got my IEC approved two days ago and I would like to go to Quebec. Montreal preferably. So I have some questions regarding this.
What jobs can I do under a IEC?
What are the leading companies in Montreal?
Can I work in a daycare for 12 months? Will they take me?
Can I work for a phone company such as Rogers, Bell etc?
Where should I look for a job? -> some job postings on monster, indeed, job bank are so intimidating since I only have my German school diploma (Fachhochschulreife) and only 8 years experience in gastronomy...(I would like to work somewhere else after 8 years of gastronomy work) and a year in child care.
I speak 5 languages (German, Italian, French, English and Spanish), what would be a good job for me there, where the employer wants me for this skill?
Should I go to a recruitment agency?
If yes, how does it cost?
I really don't know where to start...I feel so lost since most of the requirements want collegial diploma etc. Is my German diploma equivalent to the dec?
I'd love to find an employer that will hire me for a year and get settled, gaining a year of work experience for when I go back to Germany.
