Hello Friends

My total 10 years work experience is fall under NOC(2131- Civil engineer) but my job title mention in my experience letter is fall under another NOC (2231-
Civil engineering technologists and technicians)

Actually i have performed the duties only with NOC 2131 and i have to apply on that only.

So CIC will accept it or not with different job title with different duties.

Hope you understand my question.

Thanks

It's fine. The job title has no effect unless it is radically different from your job duties stated, and even then an explanation can be satisfactory to the officer.

However if you're applying for a program which requires NOC 2131 such as a PNP program expect some scrutiny from the case officer in this case.

I am in the same situation and iam planning to apply for OINP Skill Trades with NOC 6332 Bakers. I talked to HR department and they said my title on the contract is Prep cook but my duties and responsibilities are matched with the Noc code 6332: bakers. Unfortunately, they cannot change the contract and they apply a title Prep Cook for most of the position in the kitchen but the duties are different. My plan is that my Executive Chef and General Managet will write a letter and put some words like: her job title is a prep cook but her duties and reaponsibilities matched with the NOC code 6332. In addition, they will send me A Prep cook position description Form with my name on it ( it break down my duties and responsibilities in detail) along with the employment letter from HR which is pointed out my hours, job title as a Prep cook and duties/ responsibilities matched with NOC 6332.
Do you guys think it will work for OINP Skill Trades Stream?
