Hi All,

I have changed my employer recently (last week). My documents are with New Delhi VO (got confirmation).

Do I need to update this info with VO? My previous company will send experience letter/relieving letter after 2 month approx. But I have my offer letter of current company.

Do I need any declaration for this too? I need to know what documents are needed now.

Please help.

You should inform the VO regarding the change in your employment.

Write them a letter telling that you changed your job along with a copy of your 'new offer letter' but a 'job contract letter' the one where you have accepted the job is much better option. Also send in visiting cards of your new employer. You can say that your experience letter will reach you in around 2 months and that you will send it as soon as you receive it.

Hope this helps.

Second that. Any change in employment should be informed to the VO.

Agreed. As the VO might call your ex employer and it won't be read positively if they realize that you left that employer without notifying them.

send the new job related documents only if you have recieved file number from your visa office, otherwise wait till you are issued with one.

Thanks a lot to all for your replies. I have the file number. I am planning to send the offer letter of new employer and a personal letter explaining the scenario.

Hope that will close atleast the documents submission requirements.

Hi All,

As I mentioned above I have changed jobs. As per your suggestions I need to inform VO by sending new offer letter and past employer's relieving letter. But my immigration lawyer (Cohen) says that it is not needed.

I am confused what to do now. The letter (2nd AOR) said that I need to inform the VO about any major changes. Cohen's have a solid reputation.

Has anyone been in this situation? Please share.

Thanks!
