I would like to find out from foreign trained lawyers what the job prospects are before getting Canadian certification. Did you have to branch out to other fields and if yes how is that working out. Would really like a frank response. I would be coming with 2 children under 10. As much as the prospect of relocation is exciting. I really dont want to string my children along .

I do not think you can just come and set up shop.. It is quite a long process to go through.

Moat definitely I need to pass the bar exams. I was talking about alternatives in the time of reading and passing these exams

Well I guess as long you have legal status in Canada you can do whatever you want to do..there is no one size fits all scenario.
