Job Offer

Hi There,

May be a very dumb question but just to clarify, in order to apply for the CEC do you need a formal offer of employment in your specified trade? I can't for the life of me find the information that us required in such a letter if needed.

My husband worked as a carpenter in Canada for just under two years and we came back to Australia in August to have a baby. We are now wanting to return to Canada to live. Does he require a formal job offer in his skilled trade to apply?

The Basic criteria is - have at least 12 months of full-time (or an equal amount in part-time) skilled work experience in Canada in the three years before you apply,

No offer of employment is required to apply for CEC.

What you shud do is download the "Checklist" document. That has everything you need.
