Highly-skilled workers
These workers must meet both of these requirements:
- Their job is under skill type 0 (executive, managerial) or skill level A (professional) in the National Occupational Classification
- They will only work for a short period of time:
- up to 15 consecutive days, once every six months, or
- up to 30 consecutive days, once every 12 months
Bold text or not still not exactly clear what you are asking given you keep throwing visitor visa into the mix. There are specific rules for applying for anything at the POE . When I checked my eligibility in official immigration, I got this. Please advise.
My letter of invitation says I am invited under the Global skills strategy as a visiting Researcher but the University gave me only invitation letter without employment letter.what can I do?Its say's Job needs to be NOC A (professional) and my title is Information technology consultant which comes under NOC A (Professional). The Global Skills Strategy is a new initiative to help bring highly-skilled workers and researchers to Canada. Through this strategy, you can have a work permit exemption for short-term work in Canada if you meet the eligibility for one of these categories:
