Hi everyone,

I tried to find an answer but there's something i just can't wrap my head around.
The processing time for my country is 20 months, now let's say Ive get a job offer (I'm a social worker).
Why would an employer be willing to wait 20 months.
Is the job offer just for the fsw process and then I can look for a different job when I get to Canada.
Another thing I was wondering is how does it take to get a permanent resident after my fsw status is approved.

Thanks and I'd really appreciate it if someone can help me out here

I was wondering the same thing for a long time!
Even if the processing time was "only" 6 months, plus the time the employer needs to collect all the paper work plus financial expenditures he needs to pay, you would have to be the world's best expert in your field. So, if someone have a job offer, it is a 95% possibility that it is a job created specially for that person and I don't understand why are they favoring it so much.
