Hi All,
My consultant has got 2 visas stamped under 2 different NOCs this month. I think those 2 aplicants applied last year.
He has also managed to get them temporary jobs in canada. But they are not the same as their NOC code. Does not canadian govt require us to ick u jobs in our resective NOCs.
I guess the FSW process is initiated to bring in people for areas where there is actual shortage of workforce.
Whts the point in doing a job not belonging to our NOCs.
Wont tht b cheating the Canadian govt.
Wont there be regular checks by the govt??
Can anyone pls clarify.

Hello,
I think the Canadian Govt. does not bother with what jobs people do after getting their PR and I have never come across "regular checks by the govt" :) . If one has the required skills/experience/education etc. one can do any job after landing in Canada. Also no govt. can prevent people from switching careers of they wish ::)

There is no such rule as "you have to do the job your NOC suggested". Everyone WOULD actually want that (having the experience and qualifications already. But what if they do not find a job? Stay unemployed for months or years? Head back home? You can do any job you want after landing
