Job Bank Registration : Pending

Hi ,

I had to create a new Express Entry profile today so that i get invited for the OOPNP. As part of that, i got a new validation code for Job Seeker and i created a new profile on the jab seeker site and my account on job bank is active now.

But the status on my express entry profile still says Job Bank Registration : Pending .


Could someone clarify how many hours does it usually take to get this reflected on the express entry profile ?

Please how did you get the validation code for Job Seeker? I have created a new profile on the job seeker site and my account on job bank is active now. But I have not received any code.

I submitted my profile yesterday and set up my Job Bank registration using the EE profile number and key provided but the application still shows Job Bank Registration - Pending.

I expect there will be a draw this week and am afraid I'll miss it!

buddy this is not possible. make sure you have deactivated you old job bank a/c and you are opening job bank a/c with new email ID.

I did this process last week for my friend and it was smoot as before he also did it for OOPNP. and withdraw your previous EE profile....

try to login again by following this things and by making job bank active it should work.

Hi there, I'm experiencing the same problem here. I used my Express Entry profile number and the job seeker validation code to register my job match account yesterday, and now it still shows job bank registration pending on myCIC account. Just wondering did your problem get solved? What should I do now? Thanks! ;D

Same issue here! I submitted my profile yesterday and registered for the Job Bank following all the steps from the message I got in MyCIC. After activating my Job Bank account i received a message in MyCIC saying Welcome to Express Entry, you're now in the pool, but in my profile it till says Job Bank: Pending.

Anyone knows how to resolve this mystery? I'd hate to miss a draw today if it happens

Hey guys I had the same issue a couple of days ago, I think the system is just getting slower now that's why it takes longer for you to see your status to be changed from pending to accepted. I didn't do anything and after a day or so my status got updated to accepted automatically. So no need to panic, it just takes a little while for you to see job bank accepted. Let me know how yours turned out. Good luck!

1. You need to withdraw your previous CIC application or better create a new profile.
2. Deactivate your job bank a/c but before that change the email ID to something that you will not be using.
3. Create a new CIC application and now link the job bank profile to it.

I just did all of that. Again got the message welcoming me to the EE pool, yet Job Bank still pending.

The crazy thing is: when I clicked on withdraw the previous profile, the status changed to Active.

I concluded there is nothing I can do to change this and I am assuming since I got the welcoming email I am good to go. I hope.

I'm facing a similar issue. I just created my EE profile and got the message:
"Express Entry profile received - Next Steps - JobBank - August-7-2015 05:02:46 a.m. EDT"

Following the specific instructions in that message, I created the job bank account and activated it. Meanwhile, I got another message from CIC:

"Welcome to Express Entry - August-7-2015 05:14:04 a.m. EDT" (after about 12 mins) that says "Congratulations! You have been accepted to the Express Entry pool of candidates." And further information about 1. Keep your information up to date 2. Try to improve your score 3. Start getting your documents ready and NO instructions about job bank registration

However, my current status is still as follows:

Application/profile status Pending Additional Criteria
Province/Territory Nomination No nomination at this time
Job Bank Registration Pending Review of Minimum Entry Criteria Met
ITA Status Not Applicable
Review of submitted documents (Blank)

I'm hoping it is just an issue of lag in the update of the status at the CIC's end.

Did any of you get the update after a few hours/days after facing the same issue? Or is there any other way you tackled this issue successfully?

Have you 'activated' your job bank profile? There is a button on the right side panel where you can click to Activate the profile. Might make a difference or might not.

I know this is a long shot but worth a shot.

Yes, on the JOB MATCH website, it says STATUS: ACTIVE PROFILE (in green)

Hi, I had to register with the job bank as well, which doesnt make any sense to me because I already have a job.

Anyway, after CIC sent me a message with the "Express Entry Profile Number", and the "Job Seeker Validation Code", I went on the Job Bank website, and registered.

The Job Bank website did say (Active Profile), in green, but the CIC website never updated, and kept showing Pending. I checked every hour for 2 days.

Then after 2 days, I thought to go through my profile on the Job Bank, I edited some stuffs, and saved the profile a couple of times. Half an hour later, I received a message from CIC that my application has been updated. And now it shows as Accepted.

I dont know if it is related, but it is worth the try. Go to your profile, change some things, and save it.
