Getting a job in India or Canada ? Assuming you mean Canada, yes it is . There is a lot of competition. There are many experienced Java programmers who are moving to Canada on PR. But it is not impossible. Research on LinkedIn, or indeed and find roles that requires 0-3 yrs of experience.
Also research on bridging programs that you could take at colleges /universities that would probably help you get into the job market.
