for anyone who has a japanese spouse, here is what i'm wondering about:
my wife is japanese. she has to provide her family register, translated. it says it must include all family members, even those removed by death or marriage etc. the problem is, the official documents, which we got from city hall, don't include her sister, who has married and thus entered into her husband's family. can we just overlook this, or will it come back to haunt us? it doesn't seem vitally important to me... canada is tekito compared to japan ne~
