Japan police clearance

I'm currently residing in Japan. I'll get my police certificate tomorrow. I'm just wondering if my address appears on the certificate itself? I haven't seen a sample of police clearance from Japan and I was told that once I receive it I shouldn't open it.

The one we received is in a letter envelope. We were also instructed not to open it. So we just mail application with the envelope.

I applied for PCC from my police prefectural office today. I showed them the checklist which states that police certificate is required if u have lived in the country for more than 6 months. Luckily, they accepted it and allowed me to apply for the police certificate. They took my finger print and asked me to come back after one week.

Hello all,

Can anyone tell me how long does it take to get Japan PCC? I am in India and IRCC has sent a request letter for Japan PCC. I am nervous as I heard it takes more than 8 weeks to get it and IRCC has given me only 60 days.
