January 20th inland application - have not yet received AOR?

Hi,

My wife is worried that we have not yet received the AOR. How long does it usually take to receive the email?

Typically, about 30 days...BUT, some applicants never receive an official email from CIC as their AOR.

If you know that your application was delivered to CPC-M (applications were no longer to be sent to CPC-V after Jan 17, 2014) and have delivery confirmation, that is in essence your AOR date.

You can wait a couple more weeks and contact CIC if the sponsor does not receive the AOR email.

I was not aware that it wasn't to be sent to vegreville. We mailed it on January 16th and confirmed by Canada Post it was received on January 20th. Will it be transferred to CPC-M? I suspect this is why we have not received the AOR now!

Yes, it will be routed internally to Mississauga. This could be why you have not received AOR...maybe.
