Did you get any update now ? or its still pending ?

It is still pending from January 10th 2026. Thinking to withdraw the application, wait for couple of weeks and then reapply because I think they just forgot to work on our application which is normal. I am just ordering GCMS notes for now prior to withdrawing.

I applied for my parents supervisa in January 2026. They previously applied for visitor visa in Feb 2022 but never got a decision as it was stuck in background check ( my father has military background)

So I decided to withdraw that application and submit a fresh supervisa application separately for both parents in Jan 2026. My father received a detailed military information request in March and then there was no update until yesterday when both my father and mother have received a medical request. I want to ask if it’s a good sign. Or is it standard procedure and the application could still be stuck in background check.

Standard procedures your father could still get stuck in a long background check due to his military service. Not much you can do at this point but wait and see what happens.
