Took the citizenship test and passed today. Printed out the pdf for confirmation, but on the tracker it still shows in progress. How long do I need to wait until it is updated?

Thank you for the update.it’s a relief for other January applicants knowing the fact that there are still some movements.

I am starting my Canadian citizenship application and have a few clarification questions:
  1. Residence and Tax (2025)
As I am applying in January 2026, my 2025 taxes are not yet filed. I will answer No to “Did you file taxes for this year?”. For “Were you required to file taxes for this year?”, should this be Yes or No?
  2. Residence and Tax - For "Have you ever held travel documents or passports during your 5-year eligibility period?"
I have uploaded my passport bio page. Do I also need to upload my study permit, Canadian visa, and co-op work permits? If not would you still recommend adding them in optional documents?
  3. Address History
How precise must address dates be? I know the month and year of each move, but not the exact dates.
  4. Physical Presence - For "During your 5-year eligibility period, did you have a valid temporary resident status before becoming a permanent resident?"
I was an international student and also held a co-op work permit during my studies. Should the co-op work permit be listed separately, and if so, under which status (e.g., Temporary Foreign Worker, International Student or Temporary Resident Permit Holder)? Is a brief explanation or Letter of Explanation recommended?

Thank you for your help.

1. Yes
2. Not needed. Don't add documents not needed.
3. I guess it asks for month and year, not the exact date.

Has anyone here recently applied for surrendering an Indian passport pls?

I have a question regarding the updated process. Now we are required to upload the photograph and signature online, and once the form is printed, it already includes the ARN number along with the digital photo and signature.

If that’s the case, why do we still need to send the physical passport sized photo to the BLS centre?

Thanks in advance:)
