Still waiting for my oath sine 29 April from MBSk office hopefully soonThank you. I received the invitation emails for the citizenship test and oath ceremony, both from the Scarborough office.
Called IRCC office yesterday.Application Type: Online

Physical Presence: 1295
No of Applicants: Single
Application submitted: January 30, 2025
AOR: Feb 14, 2025
Background verification completed on tracker: March 4, 2025
Test invite received: March 11, 2025
Test given: March 16, 2025
Test status changed to completed: March 25, 2025
Tracker updated: March 27, 2025
I see. I am just trying to understand what the factors are that decide if someone's application goes into LPP vs its in the queue. I have seen people from later dates than you getting their LPP done/oaths scheduled etc... I am not accusing any offices to have slower processing time and all that - but rather just really trying to understand this: If several applicants have different AOR dates, so once their BG is clear, test is done then should not the LPP starting date be almost chronological for them based on their AOR, meaning, the person with the earliest AOR has their LPP in progress first, then the second, then the third, etc...?Called IRCC office yesterday.
Looks like primary office is Vancouver and secondary office is Sydney.
They mentioned even though LPP shows in progress on tracker it has not started.

I recently needed to change my ceremony. It has been two weeks since I requested it, and still no new date, so it will probably take longer, but it depends on the office (I suppose). BTW, I was invited to Ottawa and I am also two hours away driving from there.Got the oath invite, but it's in person in Calgary, which is one and a half hours away from where I am. I also have an autistic child, and won't have care for her if we travel there for the ceremony.
If I request virtual, will the date change or stay the same?
I saw that and I am hoping so. I am hoping the invite comes today.https://secure.cic.gc.ca/CeremonyCeremonie/en/Home
If you look in Ontario/Ottawa there are two ceremonies on that day. Chances are yours is going to be in person![]()
Damn. I had to do it. I can't leave my daughter here for a whole day with someone, and she will NOT sit still for an hour and a half. Hope they get it sorted quick. I'm in Alberta (Calgary office) so hopefully they're less busy!I recently needed to change my ceremony. I honestly think they just put it in a pile, and whatever is on top gets handled first. Then, if they have to pause your processing to wait for something, you go back to the bottom of that pile.I see. Exactly but who knows how they proceed!I see. I am just trying to understand what the factors are that decide if someone's application goes into LPP vs its in the queue.
