Hi! I completed my LPP last week. Does that mean my application has been sent back to the MBSK office? If so, does anyone know how long the wait typically is for the oath ceremony after the LPP, for applications processed by MBSK?

First call to IRCC, same update as the tracker. BG check cleared on February 25, 2025. Anyone 54+ who has had their LPP processed? Thanks.

I honestly don't know whether age makes all that much difference other than offering an exemption from the test requirement.

Hello All. Here is my timeline:

Application Type - Family (2 adults + 2 kids)

AOR office: Sydney, NS
Citizenship test office: Niagara Falls, ON

• Jan 23, 2025: Application Filed
• Feb 7, 2025: AOR
• Feb 21, 2025: Background Verification Complete
• Mar 4, 2025: Citizenship test invite
• Mar 16, 2025: Citizenship test taken
• Mar 18, 2025: Citizenship test marked complete

LPP is in progress since then and there is no update on the portal.

LPP completed May 7 for Family of 2. Reflected today on tracker. Most likely it was with Vancouver office as had sent FP to them.
All timelines in signature.

May 8 update on tracker: Citizenship ceremony scheduled for May 26th. Details to follow in their email.

The web form inquiry response said fingerprint not yet received by IRCC.
It was submitted March 1st.
Do I call RCMP and check? Already tried emailing them twice but only received an automated response email saying there is a heavy volume of applications.

I did a part time work but honestly forgot to mention in pr application. As I got an invitation by the time so in order to gather all documents it slipped out of my mind.

Now I am wondering if I include my part time works in citizenship that I forgot to mention what will happen?.

It shouldn't matter. Work is completely irrelevant when it comes to citizenship applications.

I think they only ask for employment info during the citizenship application process so they can technically query your contributions with the CRA.
