I need to check on the GCMS notes, but what does it matter if it's Feb 1 or Feb 28?
we have a WhatsApp group , all are applicants waiting for BG, last BG was cleared was on Saturday Jan 21 posted by applicants who is his Security Screening was on Feb 20, so we have a list of other members who is waiting , who is SS also started in Feb , March and April ..and so on, we all knows the exact date our Security Screening start date from our CBSA notes or as your case the date criminality is started or ended, as Security screening it is around this date
so we just want know were your cimriality started and done early or after Feb 20, we really count by the day in this group, like the Feb 22 is waiting, and Feb 25 and so on ..., there was a big pause, no one were getting clearance since Dec 10, till may be Jan 10 long time, could be due to the holidays , now we see clearance ,but just two applicants, so far ,
Honestly, I'd think my application for the CSIS notes triggered this more than on which date was criminality completed. Either way, RCMP completed their screening on Feb 21, 2023. Coincidence or rhyme and reason? who really knows

Immigrated as PR March 2019,
sent in our paper citizenship application (family of 4) Jan 2023,
and we are having our in person oath ceremony this Thursday, Jan25, 2024.

congrats , at least this part is over, I am sure your LPP and Oath , will be done soon
We are a family of 4, kids are 13 and 16 and we applied on July 2022. Last week, we got an email addressed to the 13 y/o inviting her for oath taking. She was supposed to be under me as she is a minor but no update for me and my husband. As for the 16 y/o, her online application hasn't even touched since july 2022 saying application was received. Waiting is hard.
Finally an update on my spouse's application - Language Skills are complete, while background, presence, and prohibitions are still in progress.
She applied online two months after the rest of the family (one adult, two minors) applied on paper - but got stuck with security clearance while the rest of us were done by mid 2023. Makes me hopeful that she will be done in 2024!

Had my oath ceremony yesterday! In total it took just over 2 hours. There were 173 people receiving citizenship during the ceremony and the oath portion was a total mess because people kept reading ahead and not stopping where the judge stopped. They finally just muted everyone and did the French version.
I sent off my affirmation right after we finished. So far no certificate yet. I'm hoping to get it by end of day today so I can apply for my passport tomorrow in hopes that my husband will be able to drop off and pick up for me before we travel in February. The only facilities that offer expedited and in-person processing are 40 minutes away from us, and only operate during my working hours, so it may end up that I just have to return with just my citizenship certificate and US passport.
