I called in today after 5-6 weeks. No update on criminality/info sharing. Eligibility is passed and file moved to CPC Ottawa. Did you check with them recently?

Is it possible that our application gets processed outside of Canada, probably in our home-country's visa office rather than Canadian Visa office ?
If yes, does that mean something different than when the application is being processed in Canada Visa office ?

Yes I am Indian national, but my country of residence is US. Generally files from US are processed at CPC Ottawa.
Has anyone got in touch with the New Delhi visa office to have an update on the status of their application ?
