Only if they could real time update the cic website with individual case – criminal, background, and info sharing information :/

What does your Background Check status show in your profile? Does it say "We are processing your background check....." or "Your application is in progress....."?

ITA- JAN 21
AOR- FEB 17
BIL/MEDICAL PASS -MARCH 3
BIO DONE - MARCH 3
APPLICATION/UPDATED - MARCH 18
ELIGIBILITY PASSED (CALLED IRCC) - MARCH 19

BACKGROUND CHECK - NOT STARTED ; STATUS IS "YOUR APPLICATION IS IN PROGRESS- WE WILL SEND YOU MESSAGE WHEN WE START YOUR BACKGROUND CHECK"

CEC application processing is super fast. I heard that someone from Jan 22 AOR CEC received PPR.

Generally, CEC applicants receive PPR as quick as 40 - 70 days to several months. There is no fixed timelines. But you can check the myimmitracker.com to get some idea about average processing time. Also, since this pandemic, processing time has become totally unpredictable. But someone getting PPR in two months is a good sign.

I don't think you have anything else to do from your side. You just have to sit back and relax. I'm an FSW-O, so I'm not familiar with CEC process, you can follow other CEC candidates to stay updated.

I will have to read through the forums to see how long it takes for the background check to pass. Will stay connected! :)
