I am really very worried as one of the institution where i worked in 2010- 2014 has changed its name. I am PNP-outland nominee (sinp). And now my pr application is in eligibility process since march. I have two concerns in view of above situation-
1. Does it take so long for eligibility to get pass? Or is it because of the change in institution name that my eligibility is stuck?
2. Do i need to inform ircc regarding this or should i wait?

Eligibility is the longest stage and can take a few months. IF your employer has changed the name, inform IRCC. It will have no impact on the processing as such, but if IRCC verifies your employment they will be aware that the employer has changed the name.

Medical Passed 4th February 2021.
EE FSW. I applied when I was in India but currently, I am in Canada since I am a student.

No update received after that. I ordered my GCMS notes (ordered on April 14 and generated on April 26) as I am in Canada and saw the following :
Eligibility: Passed
Security: Not Started
Criminality: Not Started
Medical: Passed
Info Sharing: Complete
CPC- Ottawa

I have got my Canadian address and phone number also updated in my application. This was seen in the GCMS notes but still my application hasn't seen an update since March 2 2021( as seen in the Notes section of the GCMS notes). Considering they are prioritizing people who are eligible to enter Canada, I do not get why my application is not moving. Any recommendation on how to let IRCC know that I meet your criteria for prioritizing EE applicants?

@legalfalcon any recommendations on how I can try to ensure my application gets processed sooner? I wrote to IRCC about it but I have not got any updates. Also when should I ask for my GCMS notes again?

There is no way to expedite the process.

If your eligibility is conclusively passed, the GCMS notes won't help you much. Instead your can send webform and get the details on security and final decision.

Eligibility, Medicals, Criminality Passed
But Security Not initiated

Is this normal? Any idea how much time it takes to complete Security, also once after security is completed any other stages for final decision ?

Medical passed: 3rd Feb, Biometrics requested same date

A little update
I didn't get any GU during the whole time.

June 23rd: Got an email to provide info for confirmation portal. Replied same day and got the credential email back the same day too.
June 25th: Uploaded my photo and completed declaration on confirmation portal.
June 26th: Got my Ecopr available to download on confirmation portal. VO In COPR was listed as Ottawa (OSC)

Photo and address still remains in review. fingers crossed for faster processing of the card! Good luck to all.

Yes, some application hs been put on hold. Also the security starts after the eligibility is conclusively passed.

However, there is a mistake in eCOPR.
Last date of entry has been misprinted by an agent.
Should I be worried about this?
How important is the last date of entry in eCOPR?
As my PR card will not have such details as far as I know.

Hi All. Need suggestion. My AOR is Jan 2021(Inland). Just called CIC and they said except medicals nothing is started. bit worried its already 5 months passed and nothing is started. what are my option, kindly suggest? should I raise a web form?

Hi @legalfalcon on my cic account it is said that Your application is in process and we have not started your background check. Does it mean that neither security nor criminality has started ? & how will I know when they started same
