Recieved PAL (pre arrival letter) in the online portal, I am confused the applicant and all dependents are inland. Seems recieving PAL is a good sign?

Thanks. Seems so, they asked for two PCCs, one we had never submitted the other from Switzerland the one we submitted with our PR application was an electronic transmission from Swiss authorities IRCC considers it a photocopy. We have applied for both Swiss and UK (new requset, for spouse only)

Canada has open international borders from 7th September onwards. A normal tourist can go to Canada with both doses of vaccination. Hope now they start working on outland paper based applications

Yes , they got my new passport copy on August 1 and no update , everything is passed and approved .

My Kid’s upfront medical - 8 AIPRIL 2021 ( beacuse when I spoke with representative she said that your and your wife medicals have been passed and extended but your son medical is under process and not extended yet so we did upfront medical again for him)
Medical Passed - 20 May 2021
Again Silence ….
Sent them some proofs via web form that we all are inside Canada - 26 July 2021
Ghost update -27 August 2021
Decision made - 28 August 2021
1st portal email - 28 August 2021
2nd portal email with crendials-29 August 2021

Silence on my side too. Guess got DM a ~week before you and I'm a single applicant. Wonder if they will at least let us travel if we have a visitor visa to come back to Canada. Otw this is wait after everything being done is too brutal.

Do they ask for our passport once we get a portal emails ? If so would get tricky if we travel outside while waiting for portal email and if they ask for passport.

Yeah I'm inland applicant currently in Canada.

O Canada, the logistics of it all is getting too complicated for me... that's crazy not being able to travel between PR confirmation and PR card inspite of having other visa.... Hope the time it takes between those is not too long.
