HI,

I need one clarification - I have applied for paper based PR after getting PNP in NOvember, 2020.
Now, I also have received the ITA from express entry profile. I am interested to go with Express Entry.

Question:

1. Can I reuse the money paid for paper based PR application towards express entry payment?
2. Is it possible to let both express entry and paper based application go in parallel?
3. How to apply for refund for application payment made towards paper based application?

Has anyone experienced a GU few days after he/she requested GCMS notes.I requested GCMS notes around end of Jan.,2021 and I saw a GU few days back (around Feb. 10-11) but I didn’t receive any update(PAL), I am waiting for.

Yes GU is sent out. Also you will know the answer when you get GCMS. The date of GCMS notes pull is in the GCMS pdf at the bottom. I also got a GU a day before receiving GCMS.

Every prior request for GCMS is also in the GCMS notes which I don't think they can do without updating the profile notes.

@bbjeon38 - The article says - "From September 17, 2020 to November 17, 2020, provincial and territorial jurisdictions may request that paper-based Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) applications be placed on hold in cases where an applicant no longer has a valid job offer as a result of COVID-19 and their application was received prior to March 18, 2020. Applications will be put on hold until March 17, 2021, or until a new job offer is received ".

Why would they place everybody's file on hold? Only the ones who lost job right? If they really do put all job offer PNPs before Mar 2020 on hold, atleast we now know the next hopeful date -- March 2021 end .

BIG CORRECTION: CIC ask for continuity of nominations to provinces, if provinces would not continue and confirm it to CIC, then CIC will hold that perticular application and inform the same to provinces and applicants both.

That they do all the time, COVID or not. Traces of such request and response I can see in my GCMS already.

Yeah we need to do this otherwise it’s gonna be disaster that I can already see because of this express entry draw
They need to give priority to applications that recieved first not that came in between
This system seems like disaster now especially because of covid that give them a golden excuse sorry everything is delayed because of covid .. like covid will not infect applications ..

Most probably when ur GCMS updated, you have had the GOST .

PNP paper based don't have to have the EE profile on GC key. Some would create anyway (like me), but some don't care.

That's why i did it last year, I just created EE profile for fun , and my CRS point was 200 at that time, i talked to myself "meh, better to have that, why not?". Last week i received iTA lol.

Hi All,

I have two questions:
1. They request the biometric collection fee payment a month ago, and I submitted it twice via webform. However, till now I get no response neither it reflects in my application. Anyone is in same situation as me?
2. I did upfront medical test and also sent it via webform(not sure if they've received it). Now they sent me the medical request form(IMM 1017E). What should I do at this moment? Do I need to let my physician fill the form and send it back to IRCC?
