Not sure of the answer but general consensus is that PAL is received automatically after eligibility passes. Not very sure if the system checks if it's inland or Outland applicant. I was outland when I got PAL. One friend of mine got PAL although he applied from inland.

It's better to assume eligibility is pending until you get PAL. The most definitive way to know the answer is to call IRCC or raise GCMS notes.

In any case, expecting PAL/eligibility pass for Jan 2021 AOR is highly wishful thinking.

ok so we receive PAL only after eligibillity passed! Some they get it and some they dont!

I have a question, If i am nominated via sinp or any other province, and submit paper based PR. Can i come to Canada on some type of temp. resident visa while I wait for the decision to be made? And if so what type of resident visa would that be.

Yes you can. For example, if nominated by OINP, you get a work permit support letter from Ontario and you can apply for a closed work permit using that support letter. LMIA is not required in this case.

My OINP certificate expires today and I haven't recieved AOR yet, I sent my application in September 2020. Should I email OINP to extend my certificate? They did say on their website that they will extend certificate if IRCC return application because of incomplete or delay in getting documentation.

Holy Shit, cut off score 75, 27,333+ iTA just has been sent off. I received iTA too, should I decline iTA to give the chance to other people, or should i apply EE and keep a paper-based one simultaneously? i hope they also speed up paper-based too.

Of course not. The certificate should be valid on the date courier received and it's not your fault if they don't open and process.

Plus what OINP says is very clear. They will extend only if IRCC returns application as incomplete. Not is AoR is delayed. So chill and watch the slowest soap opera called Paper PR unfold

This is crazy. Slap on our paper PR folks' face. Such a waste of time and money for us. Folks who got ITA and did not get AOR and can get documents ready on time should switch to CEC Express Entry and save some previous time. You will get refund of Paper PR too (but not nomination)

no need, you're good. As soon as your application reach CIO before the expiration date, it's valid. I've been there before but it all good.

Thanks buddy, i should have said that my state is now waiting for Decision made. My medical exam passed on Feb 2nd, 2021. (i did upfront on Dec31,202 and sent them webform on Jan 8,2021)

They already have notice on for CEC saying that they are working at full capacity
But they did not comment anything on paper based
