It depends on the stream under which you were nominated.. I was nominated under sinp student category, I left my job a month after I submitted my pr application in Oct 2020. I was just tired of my toxic work place, I'm actively searching for another job.
Can we leave our job after submitting PR application?

I was nominated under OINP - international student Category

Hello everyone,

I submitted my application (paper based) on Oct31st 2019. I received AOR sometime around Feb 2020. I am still waiting to receive MEd request. Its been 15 months. What do you guys suggest? Shall I wait more or shall I contact IRCC

I suggest doing upfront medical exam.
Based on the forum posts so far it has helped people get into a ~1 years processing timerange instead of waiting whole 18-21 months.

Since I already submitted the application I can't do the upfront medical now. Have to wait it out

That's not true, Upfront is done AFTER you have sent your application as you need your UCI/Application Number for that.
It's "Upfront" in terms of having it done before you receive your Medical Request.

If you are Inland, go ahead and book at any local place doing the exams, they are well aware of what that means.
You will receive an e-medical sheets from them and upload to webform, easy!

You mean after AOR we can go ahead and do medical? That can shorten the process right?

I believe so, but IRCC is magical unicorn, so nobody really knows.
Also remember Medical is only valid for 12 months, so i would only do it once your Processing Time has <12 months left

As for does it shorten or not i guess we'll find out, i have everything except Security done, so i either get a COPR in following months or it's lost in IRCC Limbo and i'm getting it in 2022 :\

the processing is not yet available..
Any idea guys , seems like more time increase coming ??
Last time they did time went up by 1 month
