So do you think upfront would be faster?
Yes, that’s why I did. You have to wait for medical request over 1 year from AR.

If anyone here has a BCPNP paper base and wanna go to Express Entry
They can apply BC PNP express entry certificate and keep both.
BC is allowing to do that. No need to do anything just apply for the EE PNP stream.
What is the benefit of applying with EE PNP now at this stage as it has been 6 months we have sent our paper application? EE PNP path may be 4-5 months faster but it will cost another $5000 for application processing. Is it worth to spend that amount for couple of more months wait time? What is your take on this?

I submitted my paper based pr application without Biometrics fees...because i already did at VFS in 2019 outside canada, when i applied for my work permit...
i heard that biometrics is valid for 10 years...
Is it fine or create any issue...

Hi everyone,

People who got PAL and then did upfront medical and passed their medical, has your security process started ??

As per my GCMS notes (received today) security hasn't started. But there's a due date under security section does that mean security should be completed by that due date?
Actually, it means that would be the date that the officer will take a look at it, does not guarantee it would be passed or started. My due date is Mar 6 tho. Does anyone know anything more about it?

Hi Gz, you passed everything else other than security. We have same timeline.

I hope so too, my AR is February, still no MR.
Convinced my Employer lawyers to allow me to submit upfront, did so on 5th Dec.

I really hope for MP, DM and COPR in following months, we've been here for almost 3 years now, got enough funds to buy a house and it's all blocked by a missing PR, very frustrating, especially with quickly growing house prices.

You don’t worry the results expired date if they wouldn’t request?
Don’t care. I just want to reduce the risk of losing Canadian PR. We don’t know the future.

True, but the officer is not the one who passes security or not. Other departments such as CBSA and few other determine your security. Maybe the officer will start the security. My best guess is by due date something should happen.

By the way my timeline is almost similar to urs.
