You can always check your status yourself on ECAS >>>> https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do?lang=en
This you can access without the assistance of your rep.Please understand ECAS and GCKey are two different platforms ,both of which are used to check status but GCKey is a personal account where you get all the details about your application and so on.Since you have a rep you won’t be able to link your file to your GCKey even if you file processing has started unless you decide to disengage him and take control of your application
It shows no records found. Is means If I call them, I can't get temporary file number. Correct?
No that’s not correct,you can try calling them and see if they give you temp number what’s your AR btw .The status on ECAS starts showing up finally when your file processing has already started
What a pain with every paper based applicants whether they are inland or outland! CIC should do something now.
I doubt if they would be able to give you temp number because they issue temp number only after they start checking the file for completeness in other words when they open file and start working on it and I doubt if they have even opened your file yet
you and I have the same AR date. i spoke with IRCC last week. they dont have temporary file number for me.
better to check with them towards the end of January.

My AR is May 26 and I’m still waiting for AOR. I see many comments about temporary file number. What are we doing with that number? Can we use it for a Bridging Open work permit? I applied for BOWP without AOR and waiting for AOR to update that application.

I have spoken with them, but haven't got temporary file number. Temporary file number usually generates after 3 months since AR, I believe. Let's see. Keep in touch bro.
What did they said ? You are already passed 3 months why didn’t they gave you? What exactly they said ?
