Good evening everyone. If my work permit expires before my PR is finalized and I have maintained status, what do I do about my expired drivers license, health card and SIN? I have no receipts to show because it was a paper application and I have yet to receive a receipt. In fact, I'm tracking it but seems like it has not even been received by the IRCC office yet. An agent said it my be in the big receiving bin. What can one do in such a situation?

Hi,

Don’t worry. Though no one can really tell you when to expect message from IRCC, but I am sure you will get update soon. What is your status on ecas? Application in process or Received? Any dependant?

What is the difference between In Process and Received?

What's your timeline? Are you outland?

VPG,
Did you upload your medical on webform after the upfront medical? Did you get any update or information from IRCC about it?

Well, I think when your status changed on ECAS ( in Process to Received) it means your file is transferred to the visa office that is responsible for your country or region, the VO continues with your application ( changing back to in process once they start to treat it) they send medical request, passport request etc.

In my case I rcvd the medical request without any change in ECAS status, it’s always in process. Although I did that upfront and submitted via webform and the doctor reported through e.medical with IME#. But It’s true that the medical request only send by the concerned VO for your region. That means the MR is a positive sign of development in your process.

Yes, medical request is a positive sign.

Now only wait wait wait.....

Just be patient dear, we are all waiting. The good thing is that everybody would get the expected response appropriately. We can’t help the situation in anyway, we just must wait to hear from them.
