Update
I received a new message on gckey saying my application is approved and i have till 18.2.2022 before it expires
They gave me 3 months after ready for visa email.

@legalfalcon is there anyway i can ask for an extension? I'd like to have an extra 6 months in my country of residence

You can send a web form and seek an extension which is given on a case by case basis.

Hi all,

Am trying to click on ‘view submitted application’ in my account on gckey since yesterday but getting the 502 error. Is anyone else facing the same issue?

Hello everyone, I have been a moderately silent follower of this forum since my AOR on Jan 12, 2020. After my biometrics, there was no movement but a few weeks back I got a re-medical request and I did it on Dec 3, 2021, and now my status has changed to "you do not medical at this time....". @legalfalcon and others, my question here is my wife is non-accompanying and we are expecting a child within this month, so shall I add my Child only to the application as accompanying? I am guessing the PPR will be valid for at least a year(for my child as well) and if that's the case, will one year be enough for me to sponsor my wife so that my child and my wife can come together? thank you in advance

Hi is it okay to land in a different airport than that mentioned in your COPR. Like if my COPR mentions port of entry as Toronto, can I land in Ottawa? Both are international airports in same province.

Hi guys and @legalfalcon
this is for a friend.
She is separated and has guardianship of her child. Her husbad has signed form 5604 for allowing the child to move abroad.

Does she need a notarised consent or anything else to board or travel in future with her child?

You can land in a city and then proceed to your city of destination. There is no such rule that you have to land directly in the city of destination.

This will suffice to travel. However as a part of the PR application the court custory order may be asked based on the terms of separation and the country that has jurisdiction on the marriage.

Thank you for your response.. when can this be asked?

And what docs are required?

She has the divorce decree and Guardianship certificate from the court. Form 5604 notarised with husbands docs.
