Got a GU awhile ago. AOR 21st Jan, FSW-O, VO: Ottawa, anyone else getting a GU today or its system glitch.

The status of the application changes from "Submitted" to Application updated. No email
Hello Everyone, hope you're doing well.
I have couple of questions, appreciate your views.
For Me:-
1) I've got READY FOR VISA email last night. Next, are we just expected to drop an email to PassportSubmission@vfshelpline.com?
2) Is there a specific format that needs to be followed? Or is it something similar to "please provide instructions for two way courier service?"
For my parents:
My parents got their PPR (visitor visa) on 3rd December. The very same day we sent an email to VFS but till date we haven't heard back from them. How long does it usually take to get a reply back from VFS?
Is there anything that can be done to expedite ? We have sent out 4 chasers already on our initial email but nothing back from VFS.
