Hi, everyone!

Happy to join this thread as I have just submitted my application for PR under EE-PNP (Saskatchewan)! Wish all of you here fast and smooth processing of your applications.

Just out of curiosity: I remember that some time ago it was required to also fill and submit some immigration forms (like IMM0008) with your application, but now the system doesn't require that. All you need is just to fill out that large and comprehensive questionnairy (which obviously has all the information previously needed in IMM forms). When did that change?

Hello everyone,

I currently have just 1+ year work experience after my degree. I am a Software developer now, but I studied Biology related course in school. During the course of my degree, I spent my school breaks working in tech firms, and can hence surely gather 3 yrs work experience. But is it possible to gather these experiences together into 3 years, since it wasn't continuous?
If yes, it possible to claim 3+ years work experience since my degree isn't relevant to the experience?

1. You can't claim points for work you did while you were in school unless your schooling was done part time.

2. You can claim points for work experience that's not related to your education qualifications.

Anyone used representative for Express Entry? Do they use applicant's profile/login or have separate access?

All the forms are included in your online application, not separately, but they form a part.

Hello everyone,

I received ITA for PR under EE-PNP(Saskatchewan). However, I have a major concern....I was asked to upload a PCC from England. The thing is that cumulatively, I have only stayed 65 days in England. I later realized that it was because I stated that I graduated from a University in United Kingdom...and this was an Online program. I only traveled for my residency program(1 week) and graduation ceremony....using a Visit visa. Other times I visited were for holidays. Do I still need to get a PCC or a LOE can be submitted?

As per IRCC the PCC is required:

  • For the applicant’s current country of residence, the police certificate must have been issued no more than 6 months before the submission of the e-APR.
  • For countries in which the applicant no longer resides, the police certificate must have been issued after the last time the applicant stayed in that country for 6 months or more in a row.
  • Police certificates meeting the above requirements can be accepted even if they have an expiry date that has passed.
  • This includes the requirement to provide a police certificate for countries in which the individual has travelled for 6 months or more in a row, whether or not the individual had an established residential address during this time.
  • Police certificates are required upfront and are mandatory for each country (except Canada) where an individual has spent 6 months or more in a row within the last 10 years. The individual does not need to provide one for any period of time before the age of 18.
  • Police certificates need to be a scan of the original police certificate(s) in colour. Certified true copies and unauthorized copies are unacceptable and will result in the application being rejected as incomplete.
Since you do not fall under the requirement, you do not need the PCC. You can explain this in the LoE when you file your application.
