I Just got the letters!
Hi everyone, I'm on PGWP and it expires on February 16, 2021.
I applied to PR through PNP Paper-Based with BC PNP.
So, my timeline is the next:
- January 10, 2020, the Application was received by CIC
- February 20, 2020, Received the Biometric letter also there was another email saying this
"UCI: XXXXXX
Application No.: EPXXXXX
Quote these numbers when corresponding with our office.
This is an automated message. Please DO NOT RESPOND to this message.
Dear ERNESTO JESUS SANCHEZ RUIZ,
This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on 2020/01/10."
- February 24, 2020, Biometric done
- July 28, 2020, Received the Invitation to Pre-arrival services
So, I need to apply to the Bridging open work permit for permanent residence but Im not sure if I meet the requirements. One of the requirements is to "be approved in principle for permanent residence" I'm not sure if I do. Could you guys help me please. Thank you

I just spoke to cic call centre agent and he said officer was just looking into your file that's why I was getting those ghost updates and security is still pending not started yet.

A lady from IRCC just called to confirm port of entry. Just received CORP in GCKey. Not letter. Application status Approved in GCKey. Decision Made in ECAS.
