January 2019 onwards Paper Based PR Applicants waiting for AOR/MR/PPR

People who are just waiting for PPR and/or COPR feels like we are stuck at the end of the race line, Just one more step to finish the race but can't move forward.

and that really sucks!!

Reason for no updates for EE is because new ee applicants can't make biometrics, once they finish biometrics they will get their application approved right away.

Hi folks. what does "Officer final review" means? The officer gonna review all documents again? For example, travel history and background information and then make the final decision? Or just a simple check? Thank you!

And news is that Service Canada may open some centers this week. And then paper applications will be again pushed away further.

Most of Gov employees are asked to work from home, including my department, for indefinite period no timeline yet. If an employee needs to be present in the office and deemed essential, they can go to work. I am pretty sure they all or some work from home.

The real questions , 1. Do they work on paper based applications received AOR, should have digital copied in the system.?
2. Do they need to be in the office to process the paper based applications already received AOR ?

Even if they open, they are not going to allow all employees to work together., More than 50% of employees in the Gov are 50 or more years old. They are not going to risk their life to process our applications. We hope they all get necessary arrangements to work from home such as laptops, two monitors, secured VPN connection, so on..

Hlo friends i got reply From ircc vis web form but i m confused. in april i they told me
We verified the information on file and can confirm that:

• The background verifications are valid
• The security background verification has not been initiated.
• The criminal background verification is currently valid.

however i sent another web form last week they replied as follows.
We verified the information on file and can confirm that:

• The background verifications are in process.
• The security background verification has not been initiated.
• The criminal background verification is currently valid.
• The medical results on file are valid.

Why BG verification Again in process?? any idea

I believe that because your security verifications are pending, your background shows in process (just randomly like GCkey)..because I think background checks involve Crimanality and Security verifications.

yes, it could be that reason. we dont when will they start. Gckey still says "we are processing your background".

Never ever trust on GCkey because it always get updated once the application is approved/refused (In 95% cases I think)

You are welcome. You can use the Privacy Act to request information from other govt agencies as well not just GCMS notes.

I have seen a EE profile where an Outland applicant recieved a ghost update on sunday and we are not getting anything even on week days..

we have to get in Que bro, Doesnt matter how many GCMS or web forms we send to IRCC whenever they see it is from Paper based applicant their reaction would be "Come on bud Better luck next time"
