I am 100% sure! Your Express Entry Application will not have a negative impact on your PNP. Just accept whichever one materialize first.

My progress bar is at 99% and medical expires in 4 months ..( PNP Paper Based,Outland) ..

Do I need to inform CIC ?
No you do not need to inform them. They will extend your medical. My status bar is at 87% and my medical expires in 4 months as well which is 2 months after the estimated completion date.

My VO is delhi .and yours ?

As per the recent CIC update ,

If Medical expiring in 4 to 8 weeeks ..they are giving extension

And medical valid for more thn 6 months too getting processed for PR

What will happen in our case ( medical expiring in 4 months )? Ideally they should process for PPR

My medical will expire 3 months from now. So that means CIC will extend my medical automatically?

CIC says :-

Medical examinations
All permanent residence applicants must have valid immigration medical examination (IME) results in order for officers to finalize an application.
Permanent residence applications with current medical results that are valid for more than 6 months may be finalized, and the COPR may be issued, if possible.

What if medical expires in > 6 months ?

Like I said I have 4 months remaining before medical expires and 2 months left for the estimated completion date. This gives me an additional 2 months after the completion estimated processing time would have expired. So I am assuming that they will finalize my file by then.

Hi, Thanks for the suggestion!!
are you sure, this will not impact my PNP application at all?
Changing immigration category
An applicant who has applied in another category, and who is subsequently nominated by a province, must submit a new application as a provincial nominee. In such a case, the following applies:
  • If the initial application has not been placed into processing, the processing fee can be credited toward the new provincial nominee application instead of being refunded
  • If the initial application has been placed into processing, no refund is possible
  • If the applicant does not wish to withdraw the initial application, processing on both applications may continue but only one permanent resident visa can be issued to an applicant. Before the processing of an application can be finalized, any other permanent residence applications in process submitted by the same applicant must be withdrawn.
Please check this information at https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/economic-classes/provincial-nominees/other-situations.html

Hi,
I am on closed work permit employer restricted.
I have applied for my Permanent Residence through Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) paper base under skilled category employer restricted. I got my AOR on 25th of September 2019. And 2 months ago I have submitted my Canada CRC and Indian PCC.

Currently I am laid off from my job.

1) If I change my employer so my this PR process will continue or I have to again start my PR process from scratch? what will happen to my current PR process?

Thank you
