I submitted my application December 2020, my nomination expiry was April 2021. I am yet to get AOR
Should I request for nomination extension since I am yet to hear from IRCC?
No. You will do nothing about nomination certificate. Only wait for AOR

Nope.
As long as you sent your application before the nomination expired, you are in good stead.

First of all
Post under the proper thread. Your file gets locked once arrives there. No need for an extension

Well, don’t want to sound harsh here, but there’s always a chance that application can be returned back due to missed documents/pages/dates/signatures etc. If person did not received AOR - acknowledgement of receipt, technically application isn’t received yet. If it gets returned then you need to re-apply with new nomination certificate.

Well Well, I agree with you, However if the file is being returned I don't think they will take more than 8 months to do that....
Having said that, They lock your file with AR date.. which will be valid for all the others documentations

Look up this forum and you’ll see that it isn’t rare for file to be returned after 6-8 months. But it’s up to each and everyone

Hi, I don’t know so much in details. All my information is just general. This kind of details you are asking about depends from so many factors like where’s your file at, who’s your officer, how complicated your file, no of dependants, location of dependants, your NOC and much more

You mean ircc ask you your daughter's new passport because old one is expired ?

Full timeline please
Yes. Her passport's valid is less 6 months. My timeline is: AR 06-05-2019, AOR 14-06-2019, 1 MR 21-10-2019, 02-24-2021 PAL and ADR, 2 MR 22-05-2021, passport ADR 26-06-2021. I believe I will get DM in one week or two weeks.
