Hi
Application was received 31/12/2018 according to Canada post no up date yet. I wish us all good speed in this journey.
Ours too but no update date. Last time when I called iRCC the lady answered my Phone gave me temporary application no. Starting with XF But no confirmation of whether it is complete or not.

Hey guys, I sent my application on the 14th Jan, my visitor visa expires the 13th of March, just wondering if this might be a problem? Thanks.

Just wondering if anyone has received AOR or if their application has been returned? Trying not to worry about it, but it's hard.

Have to apply for another visitor visa as well (expires mid-March) so I'm worried that might get declined this time. Any suggestions for proof of funds as that's my main concern and I believe the reason I was only given a couple months last time. My husband has a good job but as he's the only one with an income right now, we don't have any savings.

Best of luck to everyone else!

I am in the same boat. Going to apply for another visitor visa just to remain in status and hopefully it gets approved. You should apply for one just to be safe too! :)

Some people from January already have Decision Made.

I have had requests for additional information so I'm not expecting DM any time soon.

The answer to your question then is - anytime between next week and then end of the year!

Thanks Dary for your response.

The people who had decision made after filing in January were inland candidates ?

Also, I have been in the country for more than 4 years, would they ask for bio metrics ? Haven't got any request for police clearance yet.

But in the status it shows, background check is in progress.(Earlier, it said , not applicable)

Thanks in advance.

Yes, Inland candidates.

If you're on Facebook the group there is very busy and full of information.

I believe that they don't ask for biometrics for inland candidates, but I'm not an expert, just an applicant like you.
