FYI: Attended the ceremony on Friday. I took all the documents but surprisingly they just took my PR card and didn’t check anything else, not even passport, id or conformation of permanent residence.

I’m a Canadian citizen now. Yay!

Hi,

I am aware of this - my question is what is the average time for them to return an incomplete application? It’s been almost a month since they’ve received my application, so I want to know if this is normal.

I know 2 that had their application returned. One of them had it after 1 and a half month and the other one had it after 3 months

Received my test invite email today to appear on July 14th.

Congrats! Out of curiosity, when you got the call, was it a random number or did you actually see IRCC (or sth. similar) as the caller on your phone? Asking because I normally do not answer calls from random unknown numbers.

It showed as a Gatineau number. I live in Gatineau with Ottawa across the river. There was no name i.e. IRCC. Since I'm used to getting calls from clients on their cell phones, I'm used to seeing Number-only calls and answered it. Glad I did.

And, as promised, I received the email just before noon this morning. I'm thinking about getting excited about this whole thing.
