Thanks for your response, I cannot cancel the India trip as I need to leave the US due to work permit expiration. India is my home base. So, I am planning to go to India and submit the passport, ppr email and 2 photos at the VFS Chennai location. Please let me know what steps i need to take in order to execute this plan smoothly.

I have requested an extension on the 30 deadline for passport submission through email to "CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca" and also Webform. I haven't heard a confirmation of deadline extension. When i reach chennai, I will still have 1 week time balance left on the 30 day deadline, which is cutting it too close.

Any help and guidance is much appreciated!

Thanks in advance
thats tricky, maybe call Kuber Kamal and ask for help immediately or use his paid service as your timeline is really short, all the best

Hello Everyone,

I have been on this forum for sometime now and its been very helpful.....but today i’m extremely worried...as last time i posted that IRCC asked for my husband's CV/Resume and gave us only 7 days to submit on Oct 22 & we sent them on Oct 23 with original degree & other educational documents scan online through web-form.

Last night we received 2 different emails. First email was about confirmation of documents received. Suddenly 20 minutes later another email about asking to submit same CV/Resume again because they couldn’t receive it. I’m so shocked & worried (as deadline was Oct 29,2019).....so we submitted everything again along with all the emails we received from them.

What should I do next now? Should I send another web form inquiring about my documents received or not?

Please any suggestions are welcome?

Thanks.

Hey guys, i called today and the agent said 'decision has been made'. What does that means. But he said that he doesn't know when the email will be sent. Jan 4 2019 AOR and Sidney VO
Btw, did you get remedicals request?

That is good news!!! Well wait for the golden mail. With IRCC I can’t tell when they will sent it. It can be sooner or later but It is good news.

Congrats in advance! ;) When do your meds expire?

That's exactly the problem.. Them contacting us potentially months later doesn't help anyone. They should accept our inclination to resolve the situation (in this case, the medicals) when we proactively try to get things sorted, instead of making us wait indefinitely! I really, REALLY detest how IRCC goes about some things..

Yeah, as long as they do SOMETHING, that would be great.. Seems like there's plenty of time between your application approval and your medical expiry. Yet they want to just sit on an APPROVED application.. It's nuts!

.. Sorry, just needed to rant and vent a bit! Two steps from the finish line now and IRCC wants to call a timeout.. *sigh*

I believe it's because of numbers. Each visa office is only given a certain amount of deliverable ppr's.. So they sit on approved applications or delay others.

I don't doubt it. But if that's the case, then the whole process is such incredible BS.. they're supposed to control how many people they take in when they decide how many ITAs they're issuing, not at the very end after the long wait, just before issuing PPRs..
That's like paying for a movie ticket and the theatre decides which show date/time is convenient for them to invite you. Can't they control that when issuing the damn tickets !?

Sorry.. just part 2 of the rant here..
