It feels incredibly relieving to finally post this here, it's PPR time!

AOR: Jan 24th
Ghost Update: March 6th
MEP/BIL: March 8th
Radio silence...
GCMS ordered in May, came in June.
GCMS ordered in July, PPR managed to beat it to the punch.
RPRF request: September 7th
PPR: September 11th

NOC: 2133
PA + 1 Dependent
VO: CPC-Ottawa

I made several calls to IRCC, e-mailed Mr. Goodale and up to about a week before I got the RPRF request my status was Eligibility and Security not started. I'm glad this ordeal is finally over with.

Yes, I contacted one of the local MP and I was told to be patient cause the federal election is coming up so it's probably gonna be super busy as they need to get ready for the election

For those who have submitted ADRs: did you receive a ghost update after document submission?
I did receive a ghost update a day after my docs were submitted. Just want to know if it is really a ghost update or just a system update due to document submission

I got ADR Sep 3 submitted 4th. I saw that it was updated to not applicable by the next day Sep 5. Got a ghost update today. AOR Jan 21

I'm late January AOR VO Ottawa. I don't feel optimistic about getting PPR anytime this year.

Saw exact same behavior. AOR Jan 20.
Not sure if ghost update is someone 'approving' OR just updating something based on doc submitted. I hope it is former

I think once they pick up your file, they complete the work on it. They wouldn't make a minor update and just toss your file back into the pile, unless there's grounds for ADR or misrepresentation, etc. It probably means it's approved or at least a significant eligibility criteria has passed.

Security checks have not been initiated. They cannot be expedited and timelines are not available.

SO HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR SECURITY TO BE CHECKED???...

Guys, I know how hard this is cause I am being boiled here as well, but think of it in this way, the longer we wait, the more we know how difficult this is, and more we will appreciate this all! something that is too easy to get, we might not cherish or care that much about it...I am just trying to boost myself as well as everyone else that's still desparetely waiting here. Yeah, I agree with this sentiment. I've realized I was taking Canada for granted, since I applied from the US. But now it would feel like a saving grace once the PPR actually arrives. The delay sucks but it's increasing my perceived value for that place and that's not a bad thing

Maybe our home address isn't clear enough , I mean he is a ghost and got super powers and all of that but do you expect him to know everyone's address

Maybe the holy Ghost just visit the GCMS server where all applications are stored....and give blessings to our applications

Eligibility met is a curse.

I have been waiting longer than people who had eligibility review required.
