You're definitely a candidate for Mandamus. I say go for it if you still don't receive a decision by the end of this month.
That is funny! :D I have moved on with m life, and I did not have expectations until I got the re-med request. However, the number of applicants that have waited so long is just too many.

Does anyone know how long will the Mandamus take? And the approx cost other than lawyer fees?

Ah that explains the long delay
That does not make any sense. I lived in Finland for six years and I traveled to Canada on a tourist visa once. What I am trying to say is that I applied for visas and I got them. This should have helped my case.

If you’ve worked in government or military, your immigration application generally takes longer to process.

The lawyer’s fees is the only hefty fees which is from $3-5k. If you case goes to court hearing, u should expect to pay around 10k.
Not sure about the timelines

Thank you for the details. The fees is really alot and this process seems like could take 6 months or more. And i am already waiting a long time.

I have moved on as well until I got the request for my second medicals. I am just curious to see how long it would take them to finalize my application. The way that they have processed the applications is nothing short of a disaster.
