Hi all
I am about to get my interview. I thought I will start to prepare it.
I have lost all the scanned images of application and physical presence calculator.
Is there any way to retrieve a copy from cic.

Hi Friends,

Any news about Oath for Torontorians.
Nope. I have recently contacted them because my PR card is expiring soon and I had scheduled a trip for end of the year....
Here is the response:

"Unfortunately we cannot treat this request as urgent because the reason for the request does not fall within the urgent processing guidelines. IRCC processes applications based on the date they apply for citizenship. The onus is on the applicants to keep their PR cards valid until they are a Canadian citizen."

I was surprised they used "urgent" request after almost a year. My timeline is:
Received: January 8, 2018
AOR: February 13, 2018
IP: March 14, 2018
Test Invite: June 11, 2018
Test Date: July 5, 2018
Decision Made: July 6, 2018

Did you apply from Toronto?
I have almost the same time line except the date of Test and onward. I am surprised to hear.

I've recently contacted IRCC through email and below is what I got in response

"
Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We verified the information you provided and are pleased to inform you that everything appears to be in order with the application. Since it was received on January 2, 2018, your application is still within the regular processing times.
"
Hi, just asking, have you received an Oath invite yet? We are on similar timelines and I'm still waiting, DM since, 4 months now. Thanks

Hi, You and I are on similar timelines, it seems our applications are way at the bottom, even I have to travel and just waiting for the Oath process to finish...Its taking way too long

This form wasn’t related to your case and you should select “NO”

Funny, after like 11 months 'In Process' just today I got Test Invite for Dec10th. Seems, still a long road ahead even after test. Good luck to all of us :)

This one is a very tricky situation for all. Hopefully they correct the form clearly saying that this question applies only to Crown servants.
I said 'Yes' (as I was definitely out of the country), but just clarified in the cover letter that requested form is not applicable to me.
But going by fellow applicants experiences either response looks fine.
Bottomline: Your call. but better to just say a few words about it in cover letter.
Good luck :)

Did anyone get passport stamps translated? If yes, did you just get certified translations or notarized as well? Thanks
I got my passport visa and stamps translated that are not in english or french. The translation office knew the process where they translate the pages and attach all the passport copies with it together to seal the whole passport.
