We are on the same boat. My wife did hers late last Nov. or early Dec (when the result came out) and she just got an email asking for redoing her medical again. it is still valid for a month and a half. I also sent them an email, but i doubt it will be of any use because they said they only respond back if your case exceeds the publicized 13 months processing time (in my case). I asked my wife to do the medical again.

but i was told some were approved 1 or 2 months after redoing the medical. So we could only hope so and do what they asked us to do.

Yes, My husband is going next Thursday, and in my country there is only 1 Doctor doing the Medical for this process, so the soonest he got, was next week...
My concern is that maybe they know it will take way more time than December to make a decision

That can't be right . You would only has to submit a new medicals and not the whole application.

I really hope so...
Because send the whole application sounds so much work hahaha

Last night, i also submitted the form for the electronic notes of the immigration officer of my wife's case. I would like to know why they asked for the medical while the previous one is still valid and why it takes so long while some late march applicants in my area had already received DMs.

Well, I guess every application and case is different, but never hurts to try.
I never ordered the notes for my file, and at this point, when background check, Medical is review in progress, I don't think I will order the notes...
Lets see how long they take to respond our emails

i once sent them an email about submitting more documents, and never got a reply back. it said that if your case didn't reach the default process time, you should not expect a reply. so i don't think we will never get a reply from the immigration officer.

I've sent a handful of emails to CIC and always received a reply back about 3-6 days later. they just give you a very brief reply to your questions but they do definately reply back.

and send my passport to mexico and they send me the passport.. and now this is stuck in Tennesee (why is in Tennesee? why?) because the bad weather and they dont know when arrived in my country...

Thanks for your feedback. Good for you. i did get a reply saying that they would forward my request to the processing VO office in Hong Kong, but Hong kong office never followed up with me though.

I was so upset yesterday, but we are kind if feeling better now, we just want this to be over

Well, got PPR last Octuber 7.

I got PPR the same time, sent passport to Ottawa just on Oct 11 because of thanksgiving. They received in Oct 12 and until now, I have NO answers, NO idea what the heck they are doing with my passport. Medicals are expiring this weekend.

What to do??? I am crying and desperate.
