AOR2 is acknowledgment of receipt for the visa office where the file is being processed. so basically when you receive an email from the visa office saying that they have received the application i.e. AOR2

Actually I have a question about the notes! Do you know.. If I apply, will it only give information about me and my application to be a sponsor? Or will it have information about my partner's application for PR too? I assume I can't apply for notes for him directly since he's not Canadian, a PR or currently IN Canada... ?

The only requirement is that the person applying has to be a Canadian citizen/PR or residing in Canada. It will give you any and all information available about both sides of the application as far as I know.

I think they changed the format you order notes in. It used to be called GCMS, but a little while ago when I asked for the link this is what I found. It's now called an ATIP request.

It is an Access to Information and Privacy Act (ATIP) request. However, they are still called GCMS notes

Don't worry, others don't receive AOR2 or request for additional documents. Let's wait for PPR next.

Hi all, sorry to ask again but we're really unclear about one point.

For those going through MVO, if they want specific documents, will it explicitly say so anywhere in the AOR2, either as an attachment or specific mention somewhere in the email?

We got the generic template but didn't see anything requesting something in particular.

My VO is Mexico ... my timeline for my country is 16 month!

Go to your profile page and on the left of that page you should find an option to edit your profile. I think you have to reach a certain post count though.

Processing times on the website are inaccurate. They mean that 80% of applications from that specific country are processed in the amount of time listed or less. If you have a straight-forward case, you'll likely be processed in under that.

I think that I have a Problem, the options not appears, I can not even change my pic profile!. . I think it's an error or I have to post more!

the third line appeared May 10 (Med Up front) and we are waiting because my police records expired on 25 may .... My VO is Mexico... probably we sent them again!!!
