hi cappucino i have question about the proof of language.. if they will return my application. bec im still in my 1 yr program so i send only my tor i dont have my certicate yet.. trascript with the stamp of the school is that fine?.if they retun my app. if its possible to include the letter of the school that im a full time student and proof that the language of instructor is english with my transcript?? isend my application jan29 rcv on feb4. and my mom texting me that theres a mail forme. maybe they return it back...

My understanding is if you are still IN the 1 year program, this will not count as proof of language. CIC are very specific "You must have successfully finished a secondary or post-secondary program in English or French. A single course done in English or French does not meet the requirement".

I was thinking the UCI is actually something they set for different processes that's why I asked if you and your wife had the same UCI. Just in case I just did not received my AOR and our application is under just one UCI.

my application retun back feb 10,bec of the language evidence so i decided to go for the third option which is celpipbut my appointment is on march 19. is there any expiration for the application like 90 days to resubmit?

I had the test on the same day, however,
I applied under 3/5 policy, you applied under 4/6, your application
is much faster.

I am in Montreal, I found my citizenship processing time is extremely fast, from the date I sent my application to get DM not even two month.

From what I have observed, all applications under 4/6 policy are very fast. I assume the reason
is that not many people are eligible for applying yet.

Actually I believe the main reasons is that they have removed the Citizenship Judge from the process for straight-forwarded cases.

So instead of CIC officer -> Citizenship Judge -> CIC Officer, a CIC Officer can approve the application from the outset.

This is turn has meant most local offices have entirely cleared their large backlog, further improving processing timelines for new applicants.

Please advise when CIC has removed the Citizenship judge from the process? Does it apply to applicants like me who applied in the middle of 2015?

We got an ECAS update noting that our application is in process and another line showing that they sent correspondence for a request that we think is for finger prints. Does anyone else have the same situation?
