January 2014 Citizenship Application - Timeline

I called CIC and they have no record of recieving my application. They said they are opening applications till the 10th of Jan today (mine was rcvd on the 10th) but they could not find it even with my case id #, my proof of payment # and the lady at the call centre told me to just reapply

They didn't send Discover Canada book to me.
Can this be an issue?

Got my study guide today. CIC received my app on the 16th of jan.

What's your processing start date on ecase ?

If you checked the sheet of 2014 applicants in my below signature you will find that two guys who applied on January 15th have their ecase updated on the 6th of march. I advise you to call CIC again.

March 7th I believe.

Hi Nightrider,
My application is received on 16th Jan 2014 but on my ecase update message shows the same as your, "We received your payment, along with one or more citizenship applications. To find out how long it takes to process a routine application, please consult the Application Processing Times".
Pls update if you find any updates on your e-status & I will do on mine.

Status for my application is changed to in process now with book sent. I think you should check tomorrow morning and it will be updated.

What is the identification type that you used in order to check your application status? just checking they received mine January 27 and I hope I will have some good news in the next 2 weeks.
