Hi everybody,

just wanted to share some firsthand experience.

my sister is one of those affected with the backlog, batch 2007, she has just received a letter from cic, with regards to their pending fsw application (march 2007). they have informed her that she has been chosen to be one of the fsw-provincial nominee pilot program, and if she is willing to participate, she has been chosen by BC to be taken under their provincial nominee application. if she wants to pursue this, she should submit her documents including the letter they just received to be able to continue into this new "pilot program".

In the other hand.. I would think that for people applying now is kinda of good because I guess will make our process faster??? Well coming from someone with the file in Buffalo where I don't see any move from 2010... You can not understand how broken my heart is right now.. Hope u all are well. if it is going to change as immigration minister proposed, I am not sure how many of us (who are not complete bachelor in social work or relevant field) can apply. None the less, minimum IELTS score for specific job category, more point for younger age applicants etc, this change also could make difficult for applying.

Nice to see you again buddy. ;D ;D ;D

Now they have minimum IELTS score for some immigration programs in their provinces that is called pilot program, and it is 6.5. Thus, I think the minimum IELTS score for new FSW will also be the same score which is not much, and most of you already have higher scores. I heard maximum age for getting full mark for the age criterion is 35 years old , so most of you are young enough for getting this point too. I hope also assessing foreign education credentials will be smooth enough. Don't worry dear. 8)
