No this is not true, there are other applicants in different fields which still have chances. The thing is I think applicants with filled cap don't have any chance, but other applicants still have good chances. They accepted nearly about 200 cases this week which is showing decline in overall cap filling compare to two weeks ago which they had accepted more than 350 cases. In addition to that, two other popular fields filled this week, and I think now they are a month far from today; hence, there probably will be more declining in overall cap filling next weeks. Thus, I think other applicants in other fields have still good chances, specially Jan's applicants or even first weeks of Feb's applicants.

I am sure your field will be in next year list too, based on their previous projection, and you can apply very soon again. Buddy, This time please be fast.
I am sure we will see each other one day as a Canadian citizens very soon, and laugh to these days.

Hi to all,

Lets say we have file number as we applied before, what is the indication on ecas if you i got per without receiving email. Because as of today, it was still in process but last january, out of curiousity i checked my file number and it was unaccessible.(maybe because of inactivity)

Can you give some advice, what is the meaning of our ecas status or what is the exact status in your ecas when you received your per email?

Thanks

For informing to other people:

Your status is not going to change immediately by receiving PER e-mail. In fact, it is going to change to AOR when your application receive to your specific visa office, which is going to be nearly about a month based on the location.

Sorry for the late answer because first time I did not understand your question properly. Fortunately, as I see you got your PER on February 14th.
Congratulation

this what me talking about ... don't mix completeness of application and eligibility review .... one forum member describe the cap process:

Applications count towards the cap once they pass the completeness test at CIO.

If they later fail the eligibility review at CIO, or fail for any reason at the visa office, then this does not open another slot for someone.

It is 500 applications per NOC considered for processing, not 500 per NOC visas issued.

And from 1st July 2011 please remember it will be 500 per NOC, not 1000.
Wayne.
