Hello everybody,
NOC:7241 from Iran
My application has been received on Jan 30th by CIC. Signed by Mike
Let me share some information with you! Based on what we have found in our Iranian forum, until last week Monday money orders till December 19th were encashed , and also they processed all applications from the first of December until December 19th during a week. Thus, we know they processed 20 days applications in a one week period, and they passed December 19th. All of these estimations is until last week Monday, and I don't say it is completely accurate. Accordingly, what you are seeing in CIC as information about cap is actually the number of complete Federal Skilled Worker applications processed until December 19th. As a result, if your application received after December 19th and your field cap is full now, you are not going to be in the cap sadly. For instance, if your application received January 5th in social worker field, you are not in cap unfortunately.
How we figured it out? It is quite simple since some of the applicants are applying for the second time, and they have already file numbers. Hence, when their money orders are encashed, they can see an added line in their online status that is informing about this. while other applicants can't find that until they receive their PER letter which is going to be around two weeks after encashing their money orders. In addition to that, we know the fact that after encashing your money, you are in the cap even before you get your PER letter.
In conclusion, if any of you are a second time applicant with a file number, you can find your situation way sooner than your hypothetical PER email. Due to the fact that we do not have this kind of applicant in January in our forum, I hope some of you guys can help us tracking CIC process based on these kind of information from now on. I am not so sure, but I think during this week they are going to process January applications or even they have already started during last days. Check your online status since now everyday, and share new information with all of us if you already have a file number from previous case.
Good luck all of you
