Hi Friends,

Does anybody knows in what order CIO work, its really confusing
cos some of the January aplicants got PER and some still waiting for CC to be charged.
Does NOC plays part in it?

Any replies appreciated

Dear bancklaud,

Frankly, the January's applicants who are waiting for cashing their processing fee, are living in a big, sweet dream dear! Either their applications were not complete, or they were not in the cap. Thus, In both ways, their applications are on the way back to home! CIO has order, maybe not very accurate, but still has. With all due respect, the thing is sometimes it is hard for people to accept the truth. (no disrespect to anyone) :D

it may take upto 6-8 month to charge a CC/DD/BD. CIO judge every individual application with its own marit.. so the time may vary sometime. ;)

Thanks for your replies guys.
My application reached CIO on 23/01/12 so I'm just curious.
My NOC 7215 so I thought maybe they just go down the list.

I got a NER today :( cause i have not send my current emloyer experience letter with my duties included in it.

I have few questions

I am applying under NOC 3142 (i have 4 year experience but only 3 years count cause 1 year is before 10 years)

I have experience as a Hotel manager (Noc1122) but my experience is 11 months i am still working in the same field.

If i send back another experience letter as a hotel manager with my duties will i get the points.(i am working in Canada on a work permit)

or du guys suggest for me to wait one more month till one year is fully finished or will i get points cause when they check my application it will be 1 year.(my employment letter says that i am working as a manager and i will get a permenant job as soon as i get my pr)

this what they send me

"You were assigned 19 points for 3 year(s) work experience. The point assignment is based upon evidence of work experience with Care and Cure Physiotherapy Clinic, from January 2002 – June 2005. No points were assigned for your work experience from February 2001 – January 2002, as the period of employment was outside of the 10 year requirement. No points were assigned for your work experience with Downtowner Inn Toronto, as main duties were not provided in the employer letter."

sorry to hear that. in short, you have to wait untill july 2012 to apply again. there's nothing you can do now to reverse their decision.
isn't downtorner inn a hotel ? so u gave them 2 work experience from two different category/NOC? :o

That's really sad Rajesh.....My case is similar to yours...although I haven't received anything from CIO yet...can you tell me if you received this email at what time and date? I am anxious to the outcome for me as well...My CC was charged on the same day as yours....Looking at your case...If you have an arranged employment then you can apply immediately once you get the required experience for qualifying points ie; in a month's time as you said...

Hey Dear,

Pl take this:
Call Centre services (if you are in Canada only)
The Call Centre can answer questions, in English and French, about Citizenship and Immigration (CIC) services and programs, or applications in process inside Canada.

Call Centre telephone number: 1-888-242‑2100
•Automated telephone service (available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week)
If you have a touch-tone telephone, you can listen to prerecorded information about CIC programs, and check the status of your application.
•Call Centre agents - Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., your local time, except for statutory holidays.
You must choose one of the first five recorded options before you can speak to an agent.

Note that agents cannot:
◦answer questions about application status once it is sent to a Canadian visa office outside Canada,
◦make decisions on applications, or
◦help process applications more quickly.
u have to wait for almost 15-20 minutes to talk with an agent there
